“RecRock recently worked with Dan on a project, which aimed to build confidence in people who are out of work or unable to work in the Caerphilly area. The group of 18-65 year olds, all worked on a short piece to perform, based on their own true stories. Dan’s approach to working with the group, encouraged people to be honest about stories in their life.

Amazingly, Dan managed to get 10 people on stage to talk to a room full of people, telling stories and jokes in an extremely engaging way, which was received well by the packed room. Many of these people have mental health issues, and have struggled long term to find employment. The most important part of the whole course, to me however, is that people made friends, smiled more and felt like they’ve achieved something. Dan’s laid back attitude is a testiment to this. ”
